Lidia Zylowska, M.D.

Lidia Zylowska, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist with expertise in adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and mindfulness-based therapy. She is the author of a book “The Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD”. A graduate of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, Dr. Zylowska has trained in integrative psychiatry and conducted research at UCLA.
She is a co-founding member of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center where she led the development of the Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) for ADHD: a meditation-based training in self-regulation. Currently based in Northern California, Dr. Zylowska divides her time between clinical care, teaching, and consulting. She has a private practice in Los Gatos, CA and is an affiliated psychiatrist at the UC Santa Cruz Student Health Center. She frequently speaks about mindfulness as a way to improve psychological wellbeing.
