Darline Spring, the newest edition to the Sugarbeats Catering team, came to love cooking late in life. As a young girl, her family jokingly requested that she bring salad due to her less-than-stellar cooking skills. At the
age of 51, her interest in food and her cooking skills have greatly improved.
She loves experimenting with new spices and many different recipes. Today, she enjoys cooking with organic/locally-grown ingredients, making fresh pasta and making homemade pizza every weekend. Darline’s current project includes growing heirloom tomatoes from her balcony. Wish her luck!
In addition to food, Darline has studied both Cabaret and Tribal style belly dance since 2002. With multiple festival and restaurant performances under her belt, she believes that everyone’s life is enriched by all forms of music and dance.
After making a cross-country move from the Philadelphia suburbs last December, Darline now resides in San Jose. Her day-to-day life includes working as a certified Senior Project Management Consultant for Visa in Foster City.
Much love and enrichment to all attendees of this event~
