Dragonfly Healing Center is hosting another “Restoring Beauty” day at Venture Retreat Center in Pescadero, California located in a gorgeous area a few miles south of Half Moon Bay.  The retreat center is really lovely and will be even more beautiful with some help on the land.  There are several projects that can use a few extra hands.  

Dragonfly Healing Center has built a strong and healthy relationship with Venture Retreat Center and is offering regular programs there.  Our 2013 Moving Into the Light women’s retreat will be held at Venture from October 18th – 20th.  
 
If you want to be involved in our Restoring Beauty volunteer day, please send an email to info@dragonflycenter.org and state how you are connected with Dragonfly Healing Center or Venture Retreat Center.

Our volunteer day is set for Monday, September 23rd 2013.

There is an option to arrive at 6pm on Sunday, September 22nd and spend the night at Venture Retreat Center.  For those who choose to arrive on Sunday, we will help to clean the rooms and the main lodge.  In exchange, we will have full use of the facilities that evening and our overnight accommodation will be provided at no cost.  Please note that if you choose to have dinner that
night you will need to bring your own food or plan to go out to eat after we finish cleaning.  You will also need to bring food for breakfast the following morning or go out to eat.  Venture does not have a restaurant or chef onsite.  

Details for Monday the 23rd 

Please bring food items to share for our potluck meals on Monday. 

There will be a list of work projects to choose from when you arrive.

Schedule:

10am – Meet at Venture Retreat Center for Opening Circle and Ritual
10:30am – Work on projects on the land 
1:00pm – Potluck Lunch then Hiking or Personal Free Time
3:30pm – Work on projects on the land
6:00pm – Closing Circle and Ritual 
6:30pm – Potluck Dinner around the Fire Pit or Personal Free Time
8:00pm – Hot Tub under the stars
?:?? – Bedtime*

*There is an option to stay overnight on Monday at no cost
 There may also be an option to stay overnight on Tuesday at no cost.  Please inquire as the date approaches.
