Kelly Girard, AP, CMT, RN

As a wellness practitioner I am inspired to facilitate the healing of each individual, knowing that they are the source of their own healing. I find great joy in considering that every action we take to heal ourselves, in turn, heals our families and the world around us.
My holistic health journey began in 1998, while obtaining training in massage therapy, from a Naturopathic doctor. With over 500 hours of education in bodywork and 16 years of experience, I have incorporated various modalities based upon the needs of each client.
With a desire to know more about the human body and in order to diversify my practice, I became a Registered Nurse in 2005. My experience as a nurse included time in the
Operating room, working with patients with eating disorders, the elderly, and among medical rescue students and instructors in the jungles of Belize. While appreciating all of the advances and life saving technology Western medicine has to offer, I found it was lacking in both prevention and treatment of the individual. I was introduced to Ayurveda in 2009 and have since experienced and witnessed transformation within myself, and others through a science that works based on the laws of nature. I graduated from Mount Madonna Institute as an Ayurvedic Practitioner in January 2012.
When I am not connecting with clients, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, adventure travel, the great outdoors and quiet time soaking in the bliss!
“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” Rabindranath Tagore
