CodeSpa Virtual Reality and 360 Maker Retreat
Work Study / Scholar
Asaia is a virtual reality developer-in-training at Holberton School, a two year software engineering program in San Francisco. In September 2016 she joined the guru developer ladies of ARVR Academy, an organization dedicated to diversity and inclusion in augmented and virtual reality, for a 6-week track hosted at Unity. ARVR Academy is designed to provide an overview of developing mobile VR applications using Google Cardboard and the Unity engine - from conceptualization to design to programming. From humble beginnings, Asaia is thankful of the opportunities and initiatives she has been a part of that propel diversity and inclusion forward in the VR field, most recently as a SH//FT Scholar and now as a CodeSpa VR Work Study/Scholar! The best part? She will take part in bringing together an amazing community, making CodeSpa an unforgettable experience!
